These photos and video were shot Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Resevoir Dam located in the Chattahoochee National Forest in North Georgia. We were on our way to a gig at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA to play the Georgia Police Acredidation Coalition (GPAC) Summer Conference. The bass player that night, Chris Kelly, rode with me in the van and along the way said he knew of a damn not too far off the route that might make a good stop. We left early enough and it was a gorgeous day on the road so we turned off and drove the short distance from the highway to the damn. I took the opportunity to play guitar a little bit and did an original song called Goin' Back To Mississippi. After a short visit, we got back in the van and headed on. This was one of those times you only get out on the road. Also worth noting is that June 23rd, 2009 was my 20th anniversary of moving to Atlanta from Meridian, MS. - Arlan
