These photos were taken Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at Robert's Western World on Broadway in Nashville, TN. It's known as a staple venue for musicians to play on Broadway. On the day I was there, John Shepperd, a long time player of Broadway and Nashville, was playing there. His wife walked by and asked us why we were in town, etc. After telling her I was a singer / songwriter, she took my card and asked if I'd like to play. A little later, John invited me up to play a couple of songs. The place was just about empty but I still enjoyed playing for the few that were there and appreciate John Shepperd for giving me my "break on Broadway." Although I've played Nashville several times at venues around town, this was the first time I played on Broadway. - Arlan
